Advanced Charging
SmartLine™ with PowaSave™: LapSafe® is the only manufacturer to provide true Smart
Charging which eliminates the need for the devices own AC adaptor. LapSafe®’s smart charging system is called SmartLine™ and is a leap forward in device charging technology. Unlike many other suppliers, who capture the devices adaptor leads, box up and pull the leads through to the front of the storage and charging cabinet; LapSafe® uses unique low voltage charging leads and it manages the power from the plug socket directly to the charging tip. This comprehensive system ensures that power is delivered intelligently and safely.
The fitted charging cables are specific to the make and model of the device, eliminating the need for AC adaptors. The cables are easily accessible at the front of the charging bays, and LED indicators display the state of charge. This patented, ultra-safe low-voltage system charges all devices simultaneously, in the fastest possible time. Surge, in-rush and residual voltage protection are also fitted as standard.
The Mentor™ storage and charging trolleys can also be fitted with Data Transfer which allows all devices to be updated at once and from a remote location.
Devices are kept at an optimal temperature by encouraging maximum airflow through a series of ventilation holes in the trolley. Thermostatically controlled fans are fitted to maintain temperature which is a must if you are using Data Transfer.
Eco-friendly: Incorporated into SmartLine™ is PowaSave™ which provides an energy-efficient system by shutting off power supplies when the devices do not require them and switches them back on automatically when the device requires it. This saves both time and money and helps to reduce your carbon footprint.

SmartLine™ USB-C: Each charging bay is equipped with a USB-C charging lead and delivers 65w per channel, supporting 5v, 9v, 15v and 20v to suit your device.
SmartLine™ USB 2.0: LapSafe’s USB charging system allows devices to be charged at full rate (5v 2.1amp). Users connect their USB cable to the conveniently placed USB 2.0 sockets.
