After years of neglect and abuse, a Bulldog is given a chance to live the rest of her life in peace and happiness. This is Maisy, a family dog that nobody truly cared for, and how she is now.

When the dog’s former owners realized she couldn’t get pregnant, they decided to put her down. That’s not something we’d ever want any dog to experience, but it does happen to many.

Fortunately, the pooch was brought home from the pound by an animal shelter volunteer. The pet was spayed days later.

A week after, Maisy’s good fortune continued, and that’s when her forever mama took her in. Her new mom’s a kind soul, and she loves giving the dog plenty of hugs, kisses, and treats.

In the past, Maisy was forced to live outside, devoid of any warmth and love. At present, her current condition is thankfully the ideal one, and we know it will be that way as long as she lives.

It’s been four years since the pittie found her loving hooman, and the transformation in this pet’s life can be seen on her face. It’s a true testament to the power of love.

Maisy was a different dog in her former home, and she sported an incredibly sad look on her face. She’s all smiles and goofiness now, and we’re here for it.

The transformation is truly inspirational, and we’re sure Maisy feels right at home now. Having a doting mom and playful, furry siblings could do that.

Maisy gets lots of love and care, and she’s stoked to have her very own bed. She’s a happy dog who finds comfort and love by cuddling with mom.

This little one is lucky to have such a loving home, and you can tell how appreciative Maisy is of everything she has been given. You deserve it, pet!

As a little girl living in the country side without many neighbors, my dog Sostee became my best friend. We shared an immense bond and I fell in love with these loving, beautiful and wonderful creatures. I knew from a tender age that I wanted to work with animals. I worked at the Humane Society of Northwest Indiana for a few years, and have experience with a variety of dogs and cats. When I’m not working as semi-retired Assistant Administrator in a Home Health Care Agency in Merrillville Indiana, I am a grandma frolicking with my active grandchildren and my sweet dog, Kresi.
